Sometimes people have to put their pride away, and handle life like a mom. Men believe discipline is the way to go. Violence is not the right answer, having a kid is a very big deal. Talking is a very big thing for when kids get in trouble. In American role - reversal : Women the new breadwinners.
Many men believe that they have to be tough. When you have a child how is being tough going to help? "You've got to handle your business like a mom." One of the men said, but I believe in that completely. You are no longer the "manly man" when you have a kid.
Men should be more sensitive towards their kids instead of being rough with them. When you are rough with your kid they start ti think that they have to be a certain way. When the dads have to take care of the kids they're not the best at first. They learn after that they have to be more gentle. "Patience - when dad has it naturally and mom doesn't - is the attribute both men and women cite for flipping traditional roles."
Sometimes people have to put their pride away, and handle life like a mom. That is a very powerful statement for a man/dad to make. Men always want to be the strongest link, but in all honesty sometimes you have to get over that.

I agree with you 100% ,and I'm a man and maybe soon to be father, and what you you said completely illistrates what my values are on this. Violence isn't the answer at all.
